Hi, My name is David and I live in Tasmania. I’ve been into hifi for years and generally have owned a reasonable pair of headphones. I’ve recently discovered how good IEMs can be, hence the interest in this site. I’m looking forward to reading and learning.

Welcome! This community is amazing for strong headphone users.Hello,
My name is Frank and I'm a Headphone Addict, or so it's starting to seem like that. Just getting into headphones and wanted to say what a great site this is. It's already helped me in my first tube amp purchase and headphone upgrade![]()

Another new guy here! I stumbled on my ER-4S last Christmas and remembered how I enjoyed listening to good gear. 4 months in I have too many IEM, 4x TGXEar buds,LSA HP-2, HEDDv1, several DAPs (a Cayin 7 being the best one), multiple DACs (topping and schitt), and more… I’m loving it and especially enjoying the seconds hand pricing on great gear I’ve found.

New here, . Long time music lover and (mild) gearhead. I've been getting into the headphone hobby a little in the last few years and have found browsing these forums very helpful in that journey. So big thanks to all those who unknowingly helped me and I look forward to participating now that I finally got around to joining!

Hi, my name is Ken and I have been a lurker here for a while and decided to start participating. This is a great site, and I am looking forward to being more involved. I have been into audio for quite a while. Been enjoying my audiophile journey, but I think it's transforming me into more of a gear head. Love trying out new equipment, especially headphones and IEMs. Thanks for a great place for discussion and advice!

Hi all. I am new to head-fi but have been in the AV space for decades.
My co worker got some Fosi stuff and we were chatting and it led me to find a Douk P1 with the GE upgrades on ebay. Unfortunately it has a horrid buzz and DOA power supply. Anyway I got it running enough to realize that my Grado 80s have depth and warmth I never knew. So a couple weeks later and I have new cans Senny 6xx and Schiit Modi 3 that is stellar on my desktop setup. Behringer A500 and PSB Alpha B1. I also got a Topping DXC3 Pro+ per Amirm reviews.
The Topping really has pushed me to the musical rather than technical side of things. I mean I listen for emotional engagement not to hear technical perfection. Some of my favorite speakers are Totems, same thing, they measure not awesome but make me love what I am listening to as long as it isn't wall of sound type of stuff.
