New lower-end Denon headphones (AH-D301, AH-D501, AH-D1100) announced

If the reviews describe them as being less bass heavy (as in flabby, boomy, distorted bass) with less recessed mids I might be interested. Otherwise I'll pass, just as I have with the 1001 and 2000 several times.

I just noticed that the AH-D1100 is up for sale at Amazon right now. I really hope the reviews are stellar with this one, as I've been reluctant to try out Denons due to the "flabby bass."

Oh, that expensive?
Then I recommend not to buy it. Got with the D1001, it's the better headphone in terms of sound quality. Not kidding.
The D1100 has too much resonant base, dull mids and a peak in the heights. All in all overly warm and boomy.

I'm not sure but it looks like this guy mentions sparkling highs, soft and thick bass, problem with the sealing/isolation (guess it's not completely closed, like the D1001). That's what I could find out using the translator anyway.
