New Hidizs AP200 double DAC Android-based smart music player

Interesting,if that changes let me know. From what I've read it will only last a while j til the Google servers pick it up and deny it. However if that information is wrong Hidizs might be able to figure out what in .2.9 allows it to work and use it to fix the 507 error.

For what it is worth....
My AP200 has always worked using Qobuz and the Hidizs player.
I tried upgrading to Ver 1.0
It found the .img file then just hung ( verifying file )
So I removed allthe qobus and any other Google play stuff I had put on.
Did a factory reset
then copied the .img file
That went on straight away
relogged into Google play and downloaded Qobuz
then tried Hiby 3.0 --- worked better than the one before
tried Qobuz worked faster ..
in the past I have also bought a DH1000 That works wonders on my iPhone
And just recently had an AP 80.....small and great!

I'm Happy well done Hidizs!!!

So, you wanna say that you've managed to install app from Google Play with no errors? I've also done factory reset but after upgrading. No luck. I would be checking it again. First - factory reset -> upgrade

Yes but only because I couldn't install ver 1.0
I then looked here, read what other probs people were having and chose to...
1) uninstall all apps
2) factory reset
3) install ver 1.0

Hope this helps.
Hopefully someweone from Hidizs will suggest a solution
I believe you can't install ver 1.0 over an existing upgraded install, even if it was working without problems.

I got 0.2.6 beta but google play service has stopped.

A lot of Android devices are having this issue, not just Hidizs AP200, so more likely that Google did something when they killed KitKat (4.4) support that also impacts some Lollipop (5.1) devices.

Folder play through now works which makes me very happy... I like to listen to multiple albums in a row while relaxing in the recliner late at night. I have a lot of "2 am music." I am glad I updated.

Is it true that Google will drop support for Lollipop (5.1) soon?
