Just keep submitting the issues to @Hidizs Hk team, hopefully we should have some solid software by the time it ships or soon after.

Overall can you feel an improvement in the firmware, like menu speed, glitching etc? Cheers!

Very fast response swiping through album art. Totally pleased. Sound is great.
Just getting out of Hiby player and back to main screen escapes my brain right now. I will check it later...gotta work :)

@Ultrainferno

I was prompted to delete the fw update file, selected yes but it did not delete it (thought it did) so did manually. I had one freeze but not after that deletion. Maybe unrelated?

Don't think that's related. The AP200 is a lot more reactive on the new FW but when the screen is blacked and you double click the side for the next song, it doesn't always react or sometimes it changes the volume in stead of the song.
It also doesn't seem able to "read" all my album art, but I don't really care

Spoke with Kieran @ Trinity and was told that they expect to ship Icarus 4 by the end of September, but since Hunters delays you never know.
Lets hope for the best

Hidizs just updated their Facebook page:

"Hidizs AP200 just get featured on WhatHifi, and we give credit to all the backers who supported our project. Thank you all! We are now working hard on the mass production. We will have some update this week."

The article isn't anything useful, basically just a blurb saying that the AP200 is a thing that exists.

be excited.

I was totally not able to get past the FW stuff and the past few days has been between the OPUS #2 and the AP200 stacked on an A5 most of the time.
There is no notable loss of quality on any particular track that I have noted.

That is not high praise, instead... it is a reflection of over praise for gear that cost a lot, because it costs a lot?

Impressive is the new average....does that make sense? From the AUNE m1s to Shozy + this is another very well voiced DAP that does not cost a ton and it has a nice droid based experience for those who like that (I do)

I agree with everything the bad man say. I very much enjoy this DAP and think it stacks well against much more expensive fare.

Be very excited folks.
