Hi
Anyone tested the Bluetooth Apt-X feature yet?

I am using Sony MDR-1000X Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones which supports Bluetooth APT-X.
However when i play my hires Audio files 24bit-96/192hz, it shows output in the AP200 as 16bit-44.1hz.
I cant find any settings with an option to output as APT-X.
This is one of Hidzs AP200 key features.

I hv email to service and now waiting for a response hopefully.

I'm quite happy with the ap200. It doesn't hiccup anymore (randomly pause and play) sounds the same from before the update. It's easier to control volume now too. Not really thought of using it as a transport so usb audio out isnt on the top of my list

Um, where are you seeing that? I'm using Sony's SRS-XB20 and my bitrate is as follows:

Bluetooth bypasses the DAC/Amp in Ap200/!! And Aptx only transmits at 384kbps... Not even 16/44... This player does not have Aptx-HD that can transmit/receive at some higher rates but still not 24/96...

Using the 2.1 firmware I am still pretty darn happy with the AP200, as I haven't had any of the issues some people have had. The couple of things I wish were possible with it aren't really anything with the AP200 itself, like how I wish I could connect my Android Wear watch to it to control music, but I can only connect the watch to one device at a time (that device being my phone).

I also wish I liked the Hiby music app more, as it operates more smoothly and is better formatted on the AP200 than the music apps I do like. Granted, it's not like I'm staring or poking at the app constantly while actually listening to music, and it is a good step up from what I had on my Fiio in terms of interface, but it's a step down in terms of interface from what I have on my phone with Shuttle or even ZPlayer that I used before Shuttle. (in my opinion at least)

Anyone want buy my AP200 64GB+64GB wooden back ? [only EU, i am from Slovakia] (Updated to 0.2.1)
For me is preproduction ... FW is lagy, USB DAC not working under Linux (1s latency shift) under Windows 10 driver can not find device ..., no hiby link (outdated hiby), on battery work only 6h.
Keeping AP200 on full battery on cable connected to PC (turn off pc) over night and next morning i see only 2% battery ...
In fact looks like my PC can not charge this device, and no i dont have problem with my pc all other devices function very well.

I am very disappointed...

I see, mine is the same on the ap200. However, I'm using an xperia zx premium and the srs-xb20 and both use ldac connection with sound quality output chosen. Hiby player on android is still using 16bit 48khz so if any, it's either an output text glitch or hiby player cant output any better than that.

Just an FYI for anyone running firmware version 0.2.1Beta. There's a bug in the software that causes the volume to get stuck going in one direction. It depends on if you're increasing/decreasing the volume, and usually occurs while listening to music with the display off. Sometimes while switching tracks with the volume keys will trigger the bug, or just double tapping the volume keys to adjust the volume. The device will get stuck going to 0 or 100, depending on what the user is trying to do.

BEWARE, IF YOU USE IEMS!
