The msrp of the sennheiser hd 25 1 ii is $300 from what i know. They will drop in price over time.

The HD25-1 ii is listed on the senn usa site as $199 and the adidas at $249.. so $349 seems pretty steep IMO

Amazon has the hd25 msrp at 299, selling for 180-something.  The Adidas pair msrps at 359 and sells for 215-249.  I'm guessing these will be around the Adidas price or a tiny bit higher.  If this makes the original hd25s drop in price, then I may jump on a pair, although I'm guessing they'll just disappear entirely.

Highly doubt the HD25 will go anywhere. They are two different products targeting different markets, shouldn't affect much.

They sound like they might be something I would at the very least have a listen to. I personally like the iphone functionality and the thought of something slightly more comfortable. But it will come down to what the asking price is...

The white HD25 Jude got is definitely the best I've seen. I'm going to try making that one day when I save up enough money for a HD25.

While I disagree - I still find the all black industrial look better - the white is definitely better than the blue. I guess I like them a little more "subtle" and industrial than shiny ..

No kidding.  I'm really itching to buy some new headphones and can't decide between the hd25 and the m-80s.  Now, the hd25 has a new version coming out, and v-moda will be announcing the m-100 sometime in February...*sigh*

Too many choices :p

I'm on the same page here, the industrial matte black hd25 somewhat gives an old classic "great man standing" effect. Shiny blue is just too.... Mainstream?
