It seems that Sennheiser is bringing out a new line of HD25 with modernized looks and remote on cable, but some genius decided to name it the Amperior.

Worst naming ever seen? They could have named it the HD25-Shiny or something. I wonder how will the response be with a name like that.

Stupid name, but very smart move by Sennheiser.  Personally, I'm currently debating between these and the M-80s, and style was definitely one thing putting the M-80s over the edge.  That's still the case, but it makes the gap smaller.

$350 waaaaaa no ways these people are crazy!!! how can they justify such a high price! Even with different drivers. They will say that the cable is improved then a little bit of shiny things and that's it $150 more. I bet there will be plenty of people buying it.

Amperior isn't such a  bad name. Be thankful they didn't choose Amperlative. :)

The impedance is different from the drivers in the HD25-1-II and the HD25 SP so it probably sounds different too.

The $349 price tag seems a little steep so there better be a marked improvement in SQ because besides the lower impedance the specs look the same.
