Uapp on M11s, currently, does not support native dsd.
In the M11s, uapp convert dsd to pcm, that's why it is considered not native supported by M11s

Maybe because the native DSD support does not work fine in this APP currently.
We have reported to the engineer again for checking about that with UAPP.

I've tried other micro SD cards by different brands like Samsung EVO and few other ones and they all skipped on the M11S but I tried them on my other Dap which is the ibasso DX 170 and they all worked fine without any skipping, it's something about M11s hardware or software that's making the music jump and skip through tracks.

i have m11s and it is for sure, has a better SOC and very good OS.

sound quality wise, it's nice.. no idea how it compares to dx170 though

Hi @FiiO , I am a long term customer of your line up product since 2021. I just bought a FiiO M11S to replace my old DAP. But I have an issue with the M11S when it update firmware automatically to V1.0.4 today and when it finished updating process I cannot turn it on again. The screen is still loading and It has been like this for a day. Can you explain to me how can this happen and how to fix it since I tried to restart the M11s multiple times but it does not work so far
I'm hoping for your response

@FiiO , even after updating the M11S firmware to version 1.0.4, FiiO Music app continues to freeze and restart for no apparent reason. It simply stops in the middle of playing tracks.

No, the problem happens randomly. I've already tried formatting the microSD card and copying it again, but it didn't help. I purchased the SanDisk microSD card from Amazon USA (sold and shipped by Amazon).

You could try whether the issue happens when playing the songs in internal storage or other SD card. If not, it seems to be the problem with the SD card.

Problem resolved in the latest update to the beta version of UAPP.

The faster the charger, the harder on battery life. Doesn't matter if you're not trying to take care of the battery though. Only matters if you are trying to maximize longevity. Fast charging is detrimental to battery longevity, and noticeably.
