As it is known that due to its weight the Atlas might tend to fall from the ear, has anybody tried these inexpensive silicone 'ear hooks'? I don't like the thought of the Atlas suddenly jumping to the concrete floor...

Do they work as expected or do they feel awkward and uncomfortable in the ear?

Quick question: Would it be a good/bad idea to use triple flanges ear tips with the Atlas to provide the deepest insertion and hence have the best isolation?

Pushed the "buy" button on the Atlas, FedEx to New Zealand... Exciting! Hopefully have them by the weekend, but I'm most likely dreaming lol.

The way that the taxes are applied is inconsistent.

Sometimes even though the total value is over the limit ($400 nz) they get through customs without any issue, other times as you said you get hammered.

For me I have got a good fit with spinfits. I get a deeper insertion and better seal with spinfits. Which is bringing the bass up a little.

I just checked and I'm confused ... I didn't get spinfits in the package instead I got "final Edge Style series earpiece Type E"

I found a store near me and they also ship them including the final ear tips ... so it should be fine ... maybe it's different for the european market ...

Atlas come with Final Ear Tips and not spinfits. I believe they have officially replaced the spinfits as Final Ear tips also come in the new Andromeda S as well.

Can confirm this, my Atlas and Comet have both Final Ear tips and no Spinfits. It's not a problem for me, my ears prefer the Campfire foam tips

I'm expecting import taxes to be 300-400NZD ($200-260USD), if they get through without it, I'll be a happy man but I'm not expecting them to
