I like the new suspension style headband its looks to be both comfy and beautiful! This suspension is definitely more aesthetically appeling to me than the ones from Hifiman and Stax.

+1 I didn't think I would like it, but on closer inpection its not too bad. The Hifiman one isn't as nice

Could be worse, could be the Abyss headband.

I agree. the Hifiman suspension system isn't very aesthetically pleasing & you look like a dork with it on, but hey, it is super comfortable! :)

It's not like you'd be walking around in public with them anyway.

This suspension-style headband might be the resurrection of my LCD-X. I love this sound signature, but the discomfort means they don't get much head time. I owned the HE-400/500 for some time as well as the HE-560 and the new headband was definitely an improvement. I hope the same goes for Audezes. It seems like such a waste to have such great sounding and expensive headphones but only be able to wear them for ~1 hour at a time before they become uncomfortable.

Wow! I'm glad to see Audeze has finally done something about the weight and headband comfort issues of their headphones! I had to sell my LCD-2's because of comfort issues and I'm hoping to see similar design improvements across their line.

The headphones seem pretty interesting, I'm wondering what price bracket they're targeting. Perhaps the Abyss territory? Of course, I hope they'll be quite a bit cheaper than that.

If they end up calling it LCD-4, we'll see...

Perfectly resistive 1200 ohms planar headphone?

*drool*

This is any amplifier's dream.

Amen. I hope they show up at Newport and CAF next year, I'll be at the latter and if more people get to hear them at both, then we get impressions.

I kinda want them for when I get my Ragnarok, lets see how far I need to take the amp to make them sing
