I have the nuforce uDAC and it wouldnt power up a couple of days ago. Now it is working, but the soundstage is a lot thinner. All the music is centred in the middle, there is no "left and right" speaker effects.
 
My speakers are Sennheiser HD800 and I have the Matrix M-Stage. Do you think the nuForce uDAC is the problem?

Have you tried plugging the HD800 into the uDac headphone out?

I'll have to get the 1/4 to 1/8 converter. I don't have it ATM.

Well that's the easiest way of diagnosing the issue, unless you have another stand-alone amp or dac to switch out. Ideally you would do all three to pinpoint the problem.
