I've been using the EFO 1.1 without any tuning pads, slowly learning the differences between each one of the tuning pads. The white felt will definitely add that extra punch for you @Bambule.
I use my EFO 1.1 without tuning pads also. I'm not into the darker sounding HPs, and I really like the "padless" sound.

today i got my new pad, for my efo.
it's more comfortable ( a lot more ), i don't know if the material is different but it look a little different and the dimension are bigger so the distance is more, the bass is more accurate in the sub bass region in my opinion, i can listen electro and edm without any damper and the result is better in the new pad, more impact and more quantity of sub-bass.

i had a lot of problem by the position of the headphone, but the new pad solve all :)

Very recommend

Which new pads did you order? The flat or the angled pads? And how are they different from stock?

Got mine a few hours ago. New pads on the left, old pads on the right:

With the new pads, I don't need the black felt to have sufficient bass after the 1.1 upgrade, though it still seems slightly less bassy than before the upgrade. Felt pads + new pads sounds on par with the bass level before the upgrade, but takes away some of the exquisite clarity the upgrade brings. I'll be listening without the tuning options for now.

Thanks, Dan! :)

Anyone know where to find the serial number on the headphones themselves? Cant seem to find them anywhere and I looked under the parts circled.

That's were my serial number is in that notch between and below the 2 screws on the left side (left ear)
Same here, on both my Ether Flow and Ether C Flow. The serials match the certificate of authenticity as well. Thank you for the hint!

@kid vic Your picture shows the right side, not the left.
