MrSpeakers ETHER Flow and ETHER C Flow -- Inspired by Electrostatic Headphones

Stupid question: I just got a pair of Ether C Flow (1.1) and these have the angled pads. Is the thick part of the pad supposed to go to the front or the rear of your head? I assumed the rear, but these have the pads on opposite.

Thanks!

Oh, also, someone was asking how you tell them apart (C Flow vs. C). Unless it is early production, there will be a serial number on one of the yokes. If it starts with ECF, it is an Ether C Flow.

What EQ are people using with Ether C Flow? Are Oratory's curves the standard here?

I find that without EQ, the ECF is very mid-forward, too much so for my taste. Oratory EQ goes a long way towards fixing the problem, though I feel like there are still a couple of narrow frequency bands in the midrange that might be a bit peaky. I've only been listening to these for a couple of days, so I'm hoping with more time I can pinpoint those areas too and bring them down just a touch.
