Did I do something wrong? I apologize, but I am new to forum life.
Nothing wrong. Long headphone threads often pass through the cable discussions multiple times.

If I were to have something like a Chord Dave with Ether C Flow (I'm only interested in closed-back headphones), would you recommend upgrading from DUM cables? Perhaps, @mrspeakers can chime in too.
Yes - with a Chord Dave and Ether C Flow, you will hear a difference with upgraded cables. Now to find the one you like best! I might recommend the WyWires Platinum for that setup.
Yeah, it's really kind of an unbeatable price for the quality of cable.
Thank you! I don't have a Dave yet, but planning to acquire one within a year. I simply wish to avoid going through a cycle of cable upgrades.
Would you happen to know how much a Platinum headphone cable costs? It isn't clear from the WyWires website.

$599 for a 5 foot length.
Really? That isn't bad. What's the wire gauge?
I ordered the Draug 2 on black friday (12 weeks ago) and am still waiting for cable, norne audio is a bit backed up
12 weeks ago? Wow thats a very long wait was gonna order a cable from them as well but this has me a bit worried, is that normal? Seems like a very very long wait for a cable.
Cables are actually quite tedious to make. It's one of the least fun things to do and doesn't have a huge ROI compared to building big power amps.
Fair enough. I would imagine it would be more than one guy making the cables though, but 12 weeks is still a very long time.

I have known Trevor for years. He is a stand up guy and craftsman. He does get a considerable backlog when his cables go on "sale."
