My Beyer DT990 and Beyer Darth Beyers are my most comfortable cans.

All my Fullsize cans I feel are very comfortable. AD700 to me is by far the most comfortable, although I know they're usually better for ppl with larger heads (such as I). Can hardly feel them on my head even after hours and is terrific for gaming and movies in that respect. I had to remove the bumps on the K701 but once I did that it's almost as comfortable, and HD650 is comfy once you lose that initial vice grip. SRH840 is pretty comfortable for a closed can and D1001 is well known for its exceptional comfort also.

HD800 for me. Light and even distribution around the head without any pressure. The most comfortable cans I have even tried.

The SR-007(BL).
Soft earpads, even weight distribution, little clamping force.

Order of comfortable cans for me were:
1. AKG K701 - 7 hours straight one day
2. HD 800
3. AKG K340
4. HD 650
4. AKG K272
5. Stax Basic
6. Alessandro MS2 - These actually hurt.

I've read at many places that AD700/900 are ridiculously comfortable.

I disliked the AD700s..(too big for my head, and somehow the velour pads were itchy to my skin...I guess I'm one of the few people here with that impression, so pay no attention, unless you're 16, 5 11", and and have chock-full hair), but DT770s were very comfortable (now that's real velour..)
K701s were pretty comfortable too, but you could really feel the "circumural" feel around your ears...

apart from my O2's, Beyer dt770, dt880 are by far the most comfortable cans I have tried...
Isn't the MDR-F1 supposed to be the most comfy?

OMG, huge surprise the Denon basher yet again doesn't mention Denon's, how predicable.
The cans on the denons are wonderous, it's the headband that needs adjusting after an hour or two. I wonder if they had the AKG type of headband (wire frame then cloth below that) they would be more comfy or not. Still most comfy phones i've ever tried
