.........
Looks very good! Would love the opportunity to join a review tour, if you're planning one. I'm positively smitten with my Blessing 2. Phenomenal mate to the DK-3001 Pro and I think they compliment each other very well.

Chinese audio companies are dropping quality products at sub-1000$ mark. Canā€™t keep track of them all. I really wish I can try as many as possible, but the geographical limitation prevents me from being in the updated with the latest stuffs.

Not only sub$1k, you know UM, qdc, Softears, and others are highly regarded on Top of the League grade

Above 1k, there are more competition from bigger brands (Sennheiser, Sony, Andromeda, 64 Audio, etcā€¦), but sub-1k is really the place where I see fewer products worth getting with great price/performance that are not from a Chinese brand.

Vision Ears toošŸ‘ Agree that sub$1k is now domain of mostly Chinese brands. Iā€™ve been following many after I noticed my formerly beloved Sennheiser, AKG, UE, Westone are not the justifiableness/ reasonable choices anymore, after first encounter with blessing 2.

Anyone using aftermarket balanced cable with Aria? If so which one?

Yeah tribrid but It's kore likely to be non LCP for the bass.
Releasing status?

I guess Moondrop is advancing toward new hot zone $450-550. The EST hot spots with Thieaudio brothers Oracle/Excalibur, DUNU EST112, TRI Starshine, and many other smaller boutique shops. Also KZ seemed is marching toward first affordable EST project too.

I personally found Dusk is one of best tuned IEM around, and really longed for EST and LCP to coup the only weakness of Dusk, ā€œtreble response/smoothness/extension & better resonance and transients /textures on bass ~ sub-bass.ā€. It seems treble concern is gone. So Blessing(shell) EST project may become ā€œB-ESTā€ one to choose for $450-550 EST hot zone! Since B2 is 1999CNY, and seeing other competitors, 2888CNY =449USD & 2999CNY =466USD sounds like a plan(wink* šŸ˜‰ wink*). I know Chinese love number 888.

For headfiers, here are some interesting datasheet of Sonionā€™s EST driver, which most likely will be packaged with Blessing-EST, just to share the basic measurements and specs:

You can try Moondropā€™s original single crystal OCC pure copper one, it comes with switchable 2.5mm/3.5mm/4.5mm plugs. It matches with Aria. But I still prefer the original cable. LCP drivers doesnā€™t need that much mW to drive.

Westone and Etymotic are now under the same parent company, but one of Ety's engineers is very active on this site and has assured us that in terms of design and physical product, they are very much separate entities. I trust him. The Evo (3- BA) is due out soon and I'm very excited to see how they treat their first multi-driver arrangement.

Otherwise, wholeheartedly agree and I hope the Chi-Fi fervor provides avenues for a couple American groups to step up to the plate and deliver, namely UE and ADV.

Yea if Evo is out, Iā€™ll definitely tryšŸ‘ just hope they donā€™t offer crazy price for 3BA though.

I also hope Final gets innovating and turning out new products with balanced tunings. I would like new E-series units and Heaven-series units.

I had the B3 and E2000 from Final. The B3 is build like tank, but the tuning is not very ā€œFinal-likeā€. The E2000 has a pretty good tuning, but fall short on technical performance compared to the Moondrop SSR. Itā€™s also quite flimsy. On the other hand, the build of the SSR is quite decent for a 40$ iem. I would love to see a product from Final that can compete with the like of Moondrop, Thieaudio, Softears, etcā€¦ but Iā€™m not sure whether they can hold a candle to the price/performance battle with Chi-fi side. Granted, the build of the B3 is reaaally good, but it comes with a costā€¦

I don't know about other IEMs, but in Aria, clearly burn-in makes a difference.

I am doing burn-in sessions every 10 hours with a break of a few hours. Today, with 40 hours of burn-in, the bass has become much more present, as well as other frequencies (perhaps the mids as American Spirit suggested).

The biggest proof of this is that I was listening at 47% yesterday, today I'm at 27% and it's still a little too loud.

Now I understand why Moondrop recommends 100 hours, it looks like another product.

That sounds more like brain burn in than anything & also your ear isn't 100% working the same everyday so you do need more volume today but need less the next day. That's common thing
