Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones

Additionally it's also getting quite dated imo. I know headphone technology doesn't quite move at the same pace as computers, but the design is unchanged from 2012. Magni 3 provides a lot more power for the money.

I just think i'm gonna git a Micca g2 dac/amp,
I mean everything else has issues, examples.
The o2 is the "perfect amp" as it doesn't add any color to the sound but at the same time its too boring because it sounds stale.
The Magni 3 has a list of it's own issues some pointed out by DMS3 and others can be found places like here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/ZReviews/comments/7544if/magni_3_humming_problems/
And don't even get me started on the problems SMSL has.

I just got a Magni 3 and don't have a hum issue, but I also have it plugged into clean power from a UPS along with my PC etc. Looking at that thread and doing searches on hum and the Magni 3 bring up issues with many other amps. Not saying you should get one, but hum is almost always because of power issues. But anyhow, have read that the Micca g2 is a great dac/amp.

Here might be another problem with the Magni 3:

Have you ever had to deal with this?

I'm fed up with Micca they said at the beginning of the month they would be in-stock in mid april then mid april flies by so I contact them a week ago and said "another week or two".
As a paying customer I could go buy a dac/amp anywhere else so I would expect Micca to be a little bit more responsible and keep there items in stock or at the very least not delay a out of stock item twice.
Nevertheless i'm not a business so I don't know how things work and maybe i'm being a bit harsh but it would be nice if they at least said something along the lines of "sorry for the wait..." instead of
"They should be in stock in a week or two.

---- End Message ----"
But I guess this is what I have to put up with as the Micca g2 dac is a very good deal for the money.

Yes that is the G2 dac i'm talking about.
At first I thought "huh that's just some random seller marking up the price" but then I saw the name of the seller and clicked and i'm just like "no way, what how?".
I don't know what to say I guess Micca lied to me and stopped making the dac which would explain why there are not in stock on amazon. But wow that really would be low of a company to lie to a customer and then proceed to sell the product with a marked up price on ebay.

Buy this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/Micca-OriG...738900?hash=item238c106094:g:O8QAAOSwHgdavAho and supposedly Syba makes then original design and Micca tweaks it and makes it the origen. Yes if that is actually a Micca store it is a bit shady.

This might be ok https://www.amazon.com/XtremPro-Des...=UTF8&qid=1524387459&sr=8-23&keywords=daC+AMP.

I have been getting great results with the budget DAC-X6 and upgraded the opamp to a NE5532.

I also have this https://www.amazon.com/FX-Audio-Opt...=1524387592&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=dac-x6&th=1 the official driver will be out next week, still works without.

Oh and Syba's version of the Micca https://www.amazon.com/Syba-SD-DAC6...1b40B9qQCL&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch&th=1

I'd probably just go for a Schiit Fulla 2 personally over buying a OriGen from random resellers.

So are these Micca G2's just some rebranded Chinese amps? is the Micca Outlet on Ebay dumping customer returns? All looks kinda sketchy to me.

So, I would like to get another cable for my M1060...mainly for looks as I have no issue with the stock one. I like the look of the Monoprice braided one, but it is a foot shorter than the stock one which is a perfect length. I don't want to spend a carp load of money as I don't believe in cable magic.

Thanks guys for helping me figure out that the Micca g2 isn't right for me, I just can't trust a company who does shady stuff like this and the other things I mentioned.
I guess I should buy a Schiit stack(Magni 3 and Modi 2) as they seem to be a very trustworthy company and are upfront about there products and not trying to sell me snake oil.
Plus they are made in America so thats one less things to be concerned about :)
Most of the problems that I found people have about the Schiit stack in not the products fault but rather something they have, example the Mixamp and Magni 3 thread I linked to from reddit.
Thanks @omegaorgun for linking those amp/dacs for me but they all look kind of meh expect for the Fx Dac-x7 which might be decent but looks overpriced for what it is.
Also Is it better value to buy a dac/amp or a separate dac and separate amp?
If anyone has ideas as what I should buy just let me know :)
