Same spec I went for with the Lavricables Grand. Great cable.I got the Furutech FT-610 mF mini XLRS which have Rhodium plated alpha phosphor bronze conductors and the Aeco XLR with Rhodium plated high purity copper pins. If you're going to splash out, spec these with your Grand.
I did also have the Meze Silver upgrade cable as well and it is a great cable, so soft and great build quality but I just like the extra clarity, detail of the Grand. It took a while to burn in fully though!

I actually paid for 100 hours burn in by Lavricables as I'm impatient! It still opened up slightly over first 50 hours of my use as well so yes, totally agree!Same spec I went for with the Lavricables Grand. Great cable.

Yeah, I started from raw and was close to selling them at less than 50hrs
Thankfully, I’d seen a couple of posts from others warning of the long burn in time

Is it one my browser or is the picture removed?I just stumbled upon Resolve's recommended PEQ settings that he posted way back in August on headphones.com. I believe these are for the hybrid pads. I've just downloaded them myself so I can't comment on them yet.
Here’s my EQ for the Elite for anyone wanting it:

Can you please post a link to resolve's PEQ settings?
Have been trying the Oratory1990 PEQ but it seems to have boomy bass bleeding into mids in my setup.

yep, just realised it, corrected my post and checking my PEQ...These EQ settings are for the Solitaire P, not the Elite.
...
Checked my PEQ settings and I have set the right ones for the Elite but these are too boomy as mentioned, therefore interested trying out the Resolve settings.
Dunno why but I am finding Elite too lean lately (with Hybrid pads) for my taste but as I see too much equing isn't leading to better results either, at least for the referenced Oratory PEQ and my own perception

Try the empyrean pads. Makes a huge difference

Sharing a little from my post in Expanse thread:
About DCA Expanse vs Meze Elite, they complement each other really well. The "High Accuracy and Linear" from Expanse vs The "Transparently Sweet" of Elite. As Meze Elite owner, I approve DCA Expanse as headphone that I can enjoy very much!

I'm a happy owner of the Elite but I've been thinking about the Expanse to have a different experience. What's your source? Do you feel any fatigue after a longer listening?Sharing a little from my post in Expanse thread:

have mounted the leather pads and sound got quite closed in compared to the transparent wide hybrids which is no surprise but I found that the specific Oratory PEQ for leather pads is working better for my taste than the one for the Hybrid Pads.Try the empyrean pads. Makes a huge difference
Not getting the same bass bloating, bleeding issue.
Still I am missing the transparency of the hybrids.
Will need to look again into the hybrid PEQ if I made a mistake typing in the numbers.
On 2nd listening I still prefer the hybrid pads with the Oratory PEQ as it combining the wide stage and transparency with thumping drums but this can work better or worse.
E.g. in the first track it's perfect to my ears, 2nd and 3rd rack might be a bass heads dream but could get slightly overbearing with the drums; on the 3rd one I love though the contrast of female vocals and bass drum.
In general I am getting more excitement with that tuning than with the stock tuning for sure, some club house feeling.
Will at some point try to create some more neutral but still more full bodied PEQ variants for general listening.
HQPlayer was indicating clipping danger up to -7db gain compensation, so that's showing the drastic change of the frequency curve.
Still wondering if that is supposed to be Harman target how a DCA Stealth is sounding, don't believe it's sounding nearly as bassy as Elite with that published PEQ...

Absolutely not, they are very non fatiguingI'm a happy owner of the Elite but I've been thinking about the Expanse to have a different experience. What's your source? Do you feel any fatigue after a longer listening?
I am currently using Meze Liric and I love the sub bass on it but everything else is ...nothing special to my taste, and closed back sound as it was expected. So I want to upgrade to Elite but from other peoples talk and measurements sub bass region seems a bit lower on Elite. Just wandering if adding a low shelf can make it on the same level as on Liric? I mean I know it can be increased in volume but not sure if it will actually sound the same as on closed back after adding the low shelf.
