Exactly. There for 2-4 dollars you could eat such good food it makes the western version of Chinese food look/taste like baby vomit in comparison.

The M50s may be a little overpriced now compared to other full sized headphones, but they still are solid performers. They probably still are one of the best portable headphones. Newbies generally look for bass and/or vocals, which the M50s do deliver.
EDIT: I also have no idea why this thread can be 34 pages long.

I would argue that Burger king is the superior fast food outlet although due to the agressive pricing strategies implemented by McDonalds they are a less popular choice.

Burger King... also known as Hungry Jacks in Aus. I love how 5 bucks gets you a burger, chips, and a sundae.

No the M50's aren't overrated, as a whole package their a competent performer at their price range.
