LZ A7 IEM's impressions and reviews thread

I'm curious about how (or if?) the A6's failures, presumably due to moisture build-up, has been addressed in the A7.

In my experience it has. According to LZ they've made changes to the filters (that's what causes this issue) and so far I haven't had any issues despite using the A7 both at the gym and for walking outside in rainy weather. I can't do none of these with the A6 without the volume starts to decrease. So far so good for me but of course we need experience from more people to be sure.

Are these new filters compatible with A6?
Since the A5 filters work on the A6 (and their Semkarch CNT1 too) and vice-versa, I would assume they do.

Thanks, I hope they will also be available to be purchased speparatelly.
Well since you can buy the A5/A6 filters it seems likely.

Can Peter confirm on whether the A7 filters are backward compatible? If so that would be great news for A4-6 owners whose IEMs have moisture problem.
The A7 is supposed to have fixed the moisture problem if I am not wrong. So shouldnt be needed to reverse the filters.

I received the A7 from Peter yesterday and got to playing with tuning filters - so far I'm liking this combination - monitor mode, gold filter from NiceHck M6.

I can now confirm filters are backward compatible as I had the new models on an A5 last night for kicks. Also the BGVP DMG and NiceHCK M6 filters fit it too.

I could do a compare of A6 filters (i have the extended set) vs those that came with the A7 if anyone is interested in seeing how they compare. The new came with the basic set so won't be able to do the additional ones, but we can at least see if the new filters change the signature at all.

@Wiljen is correct, both A5 and A6 filters fit.

Damn. Bass looks tight! Wonder if this is an accurate yet still fun hybrid. Craving for more impressions.
