1 DD(9.2mm coil from Japan)
2 pcs 7-layer piezoelectric ceramic drivers
4BA( knowles)

Price: A bit more than $300, so probably about the same as the original price for the A6.

Available: November 2020

Apparently the tuning filters (nozzles) are not ready tuned yet, it will be done in the next couple of weeks.

I've also got some graphs from LZ but I'm traveling today and tomorrow, I'll get them up here as soon as I've got the time. I should also be able to post some initial impressions of the sound this weekend.

Lastly (for now) the fit is also excellent. Although it looks very much like the A5 the A7 does fit me better. Might be the cable or the tips, too early to say. It's also a lot more comfortable to me than the A6. I also actually like the design, it gives me kind of retro and small workshop wibes.

By the shape of it, it seems more compact than A6. They said that the price wouldn't be more expensive than A6, let's hope it stays like that. I'm excited for the switches, I can't wait for sound impressions!
Looking at the filters, I guess the different material "tubes" mentioned before meant those five filters. Looking from left to right, the first one should be the steel tube, the threes in the middle aluminum tubes, and the last one copper.

Those tubes are switchable nozzles?
yeah, tuning nozzles just like in the A6. Also think that the tuning nozzles for the A6 will fit the A7 (as I believe the A5´s tuning nozzles fit the A6).

O.K., now we're cookin'.... I've been looking out for the A7 since my recent re-emergence into the hobby. I'm wondering about the planned development timeline. I have questions, mostly about build quality that won't really be relevant til the release model is out. Sound-wise, as long as they aren't some big departure from the A6 (as expressed by a multitude of users), these will be a contender for me to buy near the end of 2020 provided build quality is solid and of course actual availability.

I actually hope it isn't similar sounding to the a6 since that would be kinda redundant for me to get it.

Am I on the list. I want to give feedback. :)

Just the pic or are there two cables. In one the earguide looks very black underneath and the previous pic is brighter and you can tell the bronze underneath.

Best looking yet. Understated yet good shape. Nice gold accents. No wings.
