i wonder if there's a cable that can tame the upper mids and lower treble of my iems (thieaudio elixir), I think with those two tamed, I finally reach my sweet spot
This ivipQ cable seemed to boost treble and bass to my ears, which is close to what you asked. Maybe ask them and Xinhs for recommendations as both companies are great for customer service and good value custom cables.

I'm interested too... it's currently in offer on AE. I remember a positive feedback described in another thread... some funny joke also about the misspelling of FAAEAL, which is difficult to be found using the search in AE. I guess it's a good option and the price is about $16 (VAT included for my country).

I'm using this as per @Redcarmoose recommendation for my EA500. I wanted a balanced cable for it but I didn't want to spend too much. All I can say is that it's serviceable as a balanced cable. I preferred the sound of the balanced Kbear Hazy cable for the EA500 but the flat 2-pin cables just weren't secure at all with the EA500.

So I bought every pure copper cable from XINHS, because I don't know how to choose...

Photo Sep 07, 9 57 32 PM.jpg

The bottom right is kindly gifted by the shop. It appears to be this model: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256801687782696.html
I've only gone through every cable 2-3 times. Haven't decided which one is my favorite yet. Here are some initial thoughts using my Final B3 and Hugo 2.

1. Build quality is indeed insane for the price.
2. I'm glad the gifted pure silver cable (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256801687782696.html) is my least favorite. Compared to the rest, the midrange is noticeably brighter, even though it does not lack bass. Notes lack weight. Not my style.
3. All cables sound better than my current Final C112 cable (which is superior to B3's stock cable). Compared to them, C112 lacks bass, and its treble sounds glaring, typical for thin-gauge cable. All of them sound different.
4. The second in the bottom row (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256802650980379.html) has the best midrange of the bunch. Extremely smooth and warm. It appears to be the best selling pure copper cable from the AE shop, and deservingly so. It doesn't have the best top and bottom end extension, which likely contributed to the perception of midrange smoothness.
5. The only ones I dislike are the second and the third in the top row (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256803106115219.html, https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256801551947168.html). The second sound noticeably brighter than the rest. The third lacks bass compared to the rest, and has treble glare issue like my C112.
6. The top left (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256802141543601.html) is the most expensive of the bunch. I haven't decided if it is my favorite yet, but it is by far the least flexible and heaviest cable. I feel positive about the overall warmth of this cable.
7. The most portable cable are the top right (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256802791450588.html) and the second in the bottom row (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256802650980379.html). They are the most flexible, easiest to wrap into small circle.
8. The third in the bottom row (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256802131451835.html) has some practical issue. This cable is thick but soft and flexible, don't get me wrong, but the surface of this cable is extremely grippy. Really all three bright-bronze-color cables have this grippy surface, but the fact that this particular cable has the flattest grippy surface (due to each core's thickness) makes it difficult to be taken in and out of pocket. I suspect once it collects more dust it'll be better.
I'm selling these at https://www.head-fi.org/classifieds/eight-8-xinhs-iem-cables-mmcx-3-5mm.55560/

So, I just bought a pair of BLON BL-03 as a daily driver for college. My calls home usually last about an hour or more so I'd like a cable that has a detachable modmic. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a fantastic selection, but I did find these:
(I notice some of these have the pins sticking out and are not recessed. The female end of the BLONs stick out as well, so I suspect I can't use any of the non-recessed cables.) EDIT: Apparently BL-03s use the NX-7 connector, if that helps.

Of all these cables, which one is probably the best? Are any of these cables any better than in-line mics to begin with? I don't necessarily mind using in-line mics, but every time I've used one the other person has complained they can hear it rubbing up against my shirt. Lapel mics are a definite no as my phone doesn't have a headphone jack.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Are you looking at using USB-C, lightning or Bluetooth if your phone doesn't have a 3.5mm jack?

Looking for suggestions and opinions. I have the Symphonium Helios and I’m new to IEMs. It came with a 4.4 balanced cable. It’s good I think? Looks good, feels good, sounds good so I’m happy. Only thing is… so many things use a 3.5mm connector and not 4.4mm. I bought an adapter but it just makes the cable longer and heavier.

What would be a decent cable from $20-100 and does anyone have recommendations for a clip I can use to attach it to my shirt collar? I think I want something balanced tonally and with good detail. Thanks 🙏

I'm on a similar search. Just bought a Moondrop Dawn Pro to use with:
KZ ZS6
KZ DQ6
KZ Castor
Salnotes Zero
(maybe on a near future a zero:red...).

Primarly listen to black metal, ambient like Maeror Tri, gothic stuff. I don't like harsh, metallic, bright, highs. Which 4.4 to 2 pins I should buy?

I'm stuck to what is available at AliExpress only.

BlackCat is heavier with formed earhooks. So more robust and stay on better if you're active.

C16-3 is more comfortable if you don't like earhooks

NiceHCK GCT5 or PurpleSE are also good options.

All of those are good options if you want treble deemphasised.
