Little Dot MK III vs combo Fiio E7/E9 for Sennheiser HD650, Which is the best? Ideas?

I agree that It should sound good with tubes.
MK III Is one awesome cheap tube amp.
But never heard E7+E9 combo so cant really say.

Purely home use: Little Dot MK II - look into alternative tubes
 
Home and portable use(not with HD650): get the FiiO combo

 Just remember that with the MKIII you're not getting the DAC section, so that will have to come separately... But it will most likely be that the tubes will add some nice warmth to the 650s.

That's easy to fix later on
 
And a DAC isn't needed exactly when you buy a amp. They are mostly needed if you're really going to put up a big set up.

True. I'm also a little bit annoyed that the DAC section only handles 16/44.1, but I'll cope for now. I highly reccomend the MKIII if you're looking only for an amp and you don't really need anything for protable :)
