I thought it was 1500, out which 1000 were meant for the Japanese market.

You are correct, 1500 in total, 1000 for Japan, 50 for Europe, 450 elsewhere.

When I bought my Omega 2 Mk2 I swore I was done, and I have nothing I'd be willing to sell for funds except my D2 Viper and DV336i to help pay for this...

besides, I already have SR-60, KSC35 and 75, PX100, ATH-ANC7 and HFI-700 for portable when I don't wanna use IEMs.

I'm sure once my new-toy-syndrome wears out (which might not happen anytime soon), I'll try to post some objective (at least try to be objective) impressions/reviews against AD2000. I wish I had completely neutral cans to measure it against though.

As i said AT only delivers the ESW10 in units of 10pcs to the distributor/dealers so this doesn't make much sense either.
