This thread made me laugh, a lot.
I never knew A&W made cream soda! In Canada they only have root beer - never have I seen cream soda. Now I'm itching to try some!

A&W must have pretty strict dealer regulations!

intresting, maybe i would give this cream soda thing a try, i have been looking for an upgrade from my hd650s

I believe after the cream soda loses much carbonation, there will be a much smoother midrange; however there would be treble roll-off due to lack of fizz.
 
We could perhaps get a more mellow sound out of some good frappucino's, maybe some cool vanilla or very lush-sounding Irish cream.
 
I find pure mountain water to give a more neutral response.
