The LCD-2 will rule for more than six months.  It has the goods to stay top of the heap for longer than that.  I base that on having heard them.  They get the official Ham Sandwich Sound of Approval.
 
As for cream soda, Henry Weinhard's Vanilla Cream Soda is much much better than the A&W.  Unfortunately it uses high fructose corn syrup rather than real sugar so is never going to be the ultimate in cream soda.  There is still room for a small boutique soda company to take them on and surpass them.

I dont think he's not wearing them backwards - the pic has been flipped, hence the we're seeing the mirror image, etc, e.g. on the bottles of yummy creamy soda.

They were indeed backwards because the backside is facing the camera. Oops!

Soaa, you caught me fair and square.  That's why I had to go back and change the original photo.  But darned if there isn't some kind of visual metaphor in there somewhere.  I wonder if Shyamalan is up tonight.

Do you find that the cream soda is impacted at all by the type of glass you drink it in? I only use the finest cryo glasses when I drink cream soda, I don't want that to be my weak link. I also take Patrick's Exeres religiously, I find that it cleanses the palate quite nicely.

its more pure to just drink straight out of the can or liter bottle, why add more things to the chain.

Yeah, but then your cream soda has a harsh straight-out-of-the-bottle taste. I prefer to let it decant and mellow out, burning in, per se.

As for cream soda, Henry Weinhard's Vanilla Cream Soda (Sennheiser) is much much better than the A&W (Sony).  Unfortunately it uses high fructose corn syrup (dynamic drivers) rather than real sugar (orthos) so is never going to be the ultimate in cream soda (headphone sound).  There is still room for a small boutique soda company (Audeze) to take them on and surpass them.
