I have tried Denon D5000 some time ago - and there was too much bas quantity for me. Impact and texture was just fine or acceptable but it was too bloomy and release was too slow for me.

I see on the headroom's chart - that D7000 should have less bass quantity than D5000.

Dont take this wrong - I love bass, but very well controlled and not slow bas. Good textured one with proper ADSR and PRaT.

Which od these headphones have better controlled bass in less quantity: D5000 unmodded or DX1000 ?

Ahh.. Is is DX1000's treble to be rolled off in comparision to D5000 ?

I agree 100% that the decay of the low end of the D5000 is a bit too slow. The DX1000 is definetely better in this regard. It hits like POW! Really tight. Good stuff.

About soundstage I think it is clear, that DX1000 has bigger, right ?

The DX1000 has the slightly cleaner, but also slightly softer treble. The DX1000 definitely has the bigger soundstage, especially in terms of soundstage depth.

I talked with two stores over there, both only Ship Germany. I was lucky, I found a pair that were bought in Germany for a friend and then resold. Great deal though. If I lived in Germany, I would see this as an Ebay opportunity to make some Good Cash!

One thing though, they do not say HP-DX1000 they say HA-DX1000 and they do not say Victor on them. As far as I can tell this does not effect SQ!!

BTW, I know the name Victor is only allowed in Japan (JVC everywhere esle) but can anyone confirm that HA-DX1000 is the same thing as HP-DX1000

Hmmm I see your problem, have you tried to write to EP netshop and ask them ?? maybe they would treat you extra nice, it worth a try...

Maybe write to peggy591 on German Ebay, he/she sells some from time to time..

Otherwise they are 515 € as far as I can see.
