So, since Inks said the FXT90 is kind of like a cross between the GR07 and DDM, I dug my DDM out after not having listened to it for months. I forgot how much bass these babies can push. GR07, 7550 and W4 have more clarity (I guess I shouldn't count the W4 in this), but the DDM still has a unique layered soundstage like no other IEM I've heard. Can't wait to hear how the FXT90 stacks up against the DDM and GR07.

Hmm, though I had said a cross between the FX700 and DDM......Somewhere in between these in sound signature, with a timbre that stands out like the FX700s.

FXT90 surely has that layered soundstage. From memory I think it has a bit less bass than the DDM and more clarity but definitely more treble that's less offensive than the EX600.

Hey everyone, read this thread and I have a couple of questions. At this moment I own Koss KSC75 + Sansa clip+ Rockboxed, I love the bass on Koss headphones, will the bass be actually better on these headphones? The music what I listen is mostly Drum&bass, dubstep and rap(hip-hop), I really enjoy nice bass :) Would these headphones suit me?

In all honesty? Not really. For the genres of music you listen to, the FXT90 is not going to bring out the bottom end as well as say, DDM1 or Atrio MG5. That's not to say that FXT90 won't be a decent enough purchase, but listening to a lot from the same genres as you, I never go to my JVCs as first choice for huge bass response when I have the Radius at my disposal (Merlins are my first choice now but we're not discussing customs here!);)

Let's not forget the FX700, which boasts one of the most powerful low ends around (even next to my DDM2), and works very well for not just D&B, dubstep, or rap/hip-hop, but comes off surprisingly naturally on most other genres as well.

There's quite a few threads already that will be of use to you my friend. Here's a great one that's very recent, and there are plenty others you'll come across through the search.

As per my own personal recommendations, based on the in-ears I've owned: Atrio M5 (mg7), TF10, MTPG, EX600, GR07. The two in bold would earn my highest recommendation. There are quite a few others out there, but I can only recommend what I've owned of course. The thread(s) should provide much more useful. All the best!

Back to the topic at hand, anyone else order from the eBay seller BuyFromJapan, and if so, how long did it take for them to arrive? Thank you in advance.

If that's what you're after, than yes, comparatively speaking; though the EX600 is also by no means lacking in that regard, whereas the others are geared more towards a fun and musical sound, than an analytical one.

So as I understood GR07 are no good for a bass head, yes? :) Would these be any better? There are so many models to choose from, I am confused guys :/ I have already bought Xcape impressive edition, and I didn't like the bass, it wasn't just enough for me. And after 3 weeks they have broken :/ So now I'm in search of new headphones and I stopped at this one, so how do these compare? I also like that they are 8ohm, because I use sansa clip+

The FXT90's don't have any more bass then the IEs, the GR07s have even less, so I wouldn't recommend them. Look into the Monster Turbine/Tribute IEMs or Atrio MG7.

GR07, Tandems and FXT90s have a natural amount of bass IMO. The bass amount gives the note presentation some weight without compromising too much clarity when transitioning to the midrange. I personally don't get the need to have a bassy IEM for an already bassy genre(s), I know I use my IEMs with less bass when listening to a more bassy recording. That's my preference though and i'm not a basshead by any means, though I'm also not in the camp of flat=natural. I think a very slight coloration there with a nice extension is ideal.

What headphones do you personally prefer GR07, or FXT90? Which sounds better and more warmth to you? Would you recommend getting FXT90? And what other headphones would you recommend in the price category similar to fxt90?

I can't say which I like more for certain at the moment as I don't have them side by side but I'm going to get to that eventually. They're both very good products I recommend though. The FXT90 is more warm and engaging. You can also look into the FA Tandem as well, which is somewhere in between these two. It's the smoother one of the three in treble and has more bass than the GR07 and on par if not more than FXT90.
