I am starting to notice a balance issue with the pair of JH13pro I have been using for the past few years where the right ear buds is a little softer than the right. Sometimes it gets better if I give the right ear bud a few knocks. Any quick fix to recommend? Perhaps its time for the V2.
Just passed the 8th anniversary of my pair of JH13 and they are still going strong. Have used them 1-2 hours virtually every day since I got them. This is by far the longest I have owned any headphone.

And another 6 years and a bit have gone by so mine are now over 14 years old, by far the longest any of my gear has lasted, and they are still going strong. 5 years ago I had to send them back to have the 2 pin sockets and the sound tubes replaced at a cost of $100 including return shipping so very reasonably priced. To me they are still competitive even though my Sony IER-Z1R and 7hz Timeless OG are getting the most time

I feel ya. Still with my JH13 FP and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor customs. CIEMs were the only way to go back then if you wanted something above & beyond consumer grade audio.
It'd be cool if I could send in my JH13 and get the internals upgraded.

Congrats and same here. My JH13's were purchased the year they were released and must be going on 10+ years now. They still sound great and thankfully no ear-fit changes have occurred for me over that time.

They were released in 2009 so you must be close to 15 years. I bought mine February 2010 so they are now over 14 years old. I’m actually surprised that mine still fit great as I have lost over 40kg since I bought them, close to 1/3 of my body weight then
