Seems there is a sale on with the Zenith's currently - the shop shows the default prices but when you add a product to your basket, the price drops.

New Zenith's down to £375 GBP and used B-stock down to £187.50. That's a pretty good discount, though may vary depending on stock availability.

Yep. I had one in my cart this morning. But even with the extra discount they just don't seem that much of a jump from the R1 for me to pull the trigger so I bailed on it.
I agree with you. That’s why I ordered an R2 this morning

Is there a little bit more bass when closed ? Or is it just my imagination
From my listening experience opening it will give you a slightly larger sound-stage, while closing it gives you a bit more subbass. But i agree, Filters make a much bigger difference, so i like the decision of having the R2 designed completely open with more filter choices.

i mentioned it earlier in the thread, but I had the same concerns honestly. I still bit the bullet and am actually glad that i did.. the R1Z I find to be a more different sound signature than the R1. The R1 is quite a bit more laid back to me, where the R1Z is more forward.. and that's with the same color tips on each.

I find I go between the two at different times.. they are different enough in their performance that I don't regret purchasing the Zenith at all.

I'm interested a portless IMR product. The one complaint I have with the R1 is wind noise when outside. I don't routinely use mine outdoors but when I am using them on office days I'll keep them in for the walk to my parking lot at the end of the day. It is a bit of a wind tunnel in places but even with the port closed I hear the wind rushing through the port. Makes me wonder if it's not truly sealed when closed. Anyone else experience this?

How did you get a loyalty code? I ordered the R2, but haven't gotten a code.

If I'm not wrong, he sent it to the people who bought the original R1 and Zenit
