Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum.
I have been using Bowers & Wilkins P5 for about 1 year and I'm happy with it, so I'm considering to get B&W C5, is it good?
I want something that doesn't leak because I use bus and train to travel.
I also want something that comfortable in my ears.

I'm willing to pay up to $200.
I'd love to hear suggestions from you guys.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums!

The C5 has a pretty mesh back, which unfortunately does affect isolation a little. There is also better that can be had for the price. If you're up to the task, the post below is a veritable treasure trove of information.

Some places to start looking. The Vsonic GR07, Hifiman Re262, Triple.Fi 10 and Sony EX600 are a few among the most recommended.

For that price, You may consider an Etymotic product.

The HF5 comes to mind. I use Comply Foam tips in mine and they are oh so comfy.

Good isolation too.

I bought the C5 and it is definitely worth every cent I paid. The bass is booming but not overpowering and the detail for classical music and high notes is immaculate. The only flaw is that the paint chips and scratches easily so you have to take care of them.

It's getting hard to decide now. I'm new these stuff so I don't know many of the brands besides B&W, Monster, Sennheiser, Bose, Skullcandy and some more. I'm really not sure which one to buy.

I think you should go for Yamaha EPH-100, or least completely check them out before deciding.

Hey Tedtran, could you talk more about your tastes in music? IEM's all have relative strengths and weaknesses, and will play nicer with certain genres than others.

Hi. Something similar to the way your P5 sounds would probably be the Sennheiser IE8, but it's out of your price range.

If you're willing to have a bit of a change, the Sony EX600, Vsonic GR07, Audio-Technica CKM500, and Yamaha EPH-100 are all very good options.

I think you'd like the Yamaha most.
