@iFi audio Is firmware v5.2 Limoncello still available on new products with the latest serial numbers ?Check out the info on our new Download Hub here.
We've updated the way you can find out what software and firmware work on your machine and what functionality it provides. This is now done by product serial number so should make like easier and more straightforward.

Can anyone tell me why in TIDAL Exclusive mode, the Zen DAC skips a fraction of a second when I play a song or when I skip to another minute in it. It's almost like for a full second the track plays in the background but the DAC is not capable to decode the info that quickly and it just skips. Is there a way to fix this ? Kind of bothering

It also happens to me with an M-Audio audio card. Thought that with an MQA compliant DAC I would stop doing it.Can anyone tell me why in TIDAL Exclusive mode, the Zen DAC skips a fraction of a second when I play a song or when I skip to another minute in it. iFi still hasn't reached back about the drop in playback in MQA mode. It's a little annoying as I mostly use Tidal to play musicIt also happens to me with an M-Audio audio card. Thought that with an MQA compliant DAC I would stop doing it.
It seems to me that it is a TIDAL thing since the same happens to me without a dedicated DAC.iFi still hasn't reached back about the drop in playback in MQA mode. It's a little annoying as I mostly use Tidal to play music

If you guys with MQA issues go back about 5 Pages you'll see the same discussion and possible solutions.
The MQA issue is not confined to the Zen dac, it happens on other dac's as well, but how you listen to Tidal can affect the size of the issue.
What about the new firmware 7.0 and 7.0c?
The question is RCA to XLR or RCA to PLUG cable? Should I connect to the balanced (XLR) or unbalanced (PLUG 6.5) input of the monitors?
