New Download Hub on ifi-audio.com

We've tried to make it a bit easier for you to find out what firmware or software works on your iFi unit and what functionality it provides.

We have created the Download Hub - simply select your product and tap in the serial number of your unit to get the latest firmware and software ready to download. The software/firmware shown is specific to the serial number of your unit.

I actually tried this a couple days ago and it worked great.

My experience wasn't great. Firstly my serial number was rejected for being the wrong format but I managed to guess how to fix it (replace the five leading letters/numbers with the 5 numbers that the form suggests) and then the updater won't run on the Mac due to signing issues.
I raised a ticket. Let's see what happens.

The response to the ticket was a bit slow, and the suggestion to install the legacy windows drivers if I was on "an older Mac" didn't help much, so I ended up working my way through the problem myself. I suspect that the process would have worked okay if I hadn't tried a dummy run without the device attached first...so don't do that...
Anyway, after a few misadventures, I ended up taking the script supplied in the updater, removing all the GUI stuff and output capture, and running it in the terminal and that worked perfectly. If you are comfortable with the command line, it is much better running it that way than the wrapped version because you can see what's going on. Then you don't end up having to decide whether to kill the app after waiting for an hour or so for it to complete which happened to me more than once.
