Contacted Bloom Audio and they said they will have the SR3 available as soon as it is released in the USA. I purchased my SR2 there. Good guys!
You're gonna love it.
I haven't been able to take it off much lol. Anywhere there is sound, there is SR3 now for me except when I'm on the move where I still have my VE Ext !
Like jamato said, the right AMP brings out the beauty in this beast.

Do you have bought it as new? Looks reaaly raped, glued aso. Or it is simply bad pic. QC is pretty high in general.
Talking about QC - some very minor things.
On my brand new SR3, one of the plastic screws on the headband was loose out of the box and the iBasso logo on the box had come off. Of course I just screwed it with my fingers and the put the logo back in its proper place. Apart from these everything else was fine.

For the box for my SR2, I had to remove the adhesive from the logo plate and glue it back using epoxy. I posted about this earlier in the thread.

Was able to score some screws at local Ace Hardware store to fix a pair with same issue but I see you are not in the US.

I had to do the same thing with my SR2. Screws fell out on one side while hanging from the HP stand. My case sticker is loose as well.

I've emailed iBasso and asked (1) if the pads on the SR2 and SR3 are the same, and (2) when they'll be available in the US. And I asked the second question of the US distributor. No answers yet...

I have the SR3 and the pads are the same. Well one set is lightly fenestrated and the other has more fenestration like the SR2 with two sets. With all the headphones I have I mainly use the SR3 now and could easily use just use them, have just them and wouldn't miss any of the others.

Urbanhifi (Linear Tube Audio) is the ibasso importer/distributor. And when I see that it makes me mad. Having an importer means ibasso sells to the importer, the importer sells to the dealer, and the dealer sells to the consumer. To me, that means the consumer is paying a middle man which drives up the price the consumer is paying. We are being overcharged compared to ibasso having their own company division in the USA. I may eventually purchase an SR3, but I will wait for an open box or used. I purchased my SR2 as an. open box from Bloom Audio so I will wait for a better price.

I just put my SR2's back on today. They really do excel at Classic Rock. Good solid bass sound. BF2 to Violectric V220 to SR2's.
My playlist today is 70's FM. All the rock I listened to between 10 and 19.

Really nice combo and great tunes. I normally don't play the old stuff too much, but sometimes... :L3000:
