Put these back on tonight. Very nice sound paired with the Rebel amp.
These are so easy to drive that I found the iFi amp too powerful. Then i went to Violectric V220 with the gain set at 0. Too powerful and I couldn't be bothered to get up and change the gain settings on the back.

Went to the Rebel and everything sounds great, in low gain. And the volume is only at 9:00.

Just shuffling through a "best of" playlist of my favourite music from 2010-2019.
Nice way to finish off the day.

As much as I want to be excited, I can't part ways with my SR2. So that means mo money I don't want to spend. Very curious if these will be more expensive, and what has changed.

They will be $600, which is only $50 more than the SR2! Great stuff

Also, the color/finish will not be the same, as though the SR3 is grey. The cable also appears to be different.

But, what about the sound...If it is Very similar, I would not be interested. I was hoping for a different headband. I am a big fan of Focal and Sennheiser headbands.

Impedance is 150 ohms
Sensitivity is 108 db
I don't remember what the SR2 is. Gonna have to wait for others to describe the differences.

BIG difference! The SR2's are 16 Ohms.

I love SR2's headband! Imo, it's perfect. Wouldn't change anything about it.

If I get my hands on a pair, expect a comparison between the SR2 and the SR3. And yeah, 150ohms is very exciting.

Has anyone heard the SR2 with Xduoo MT604 amp?
Do you know if there is good synergy between them?

I'm thinking of removing the speaker's rear screen for better ventilation, I've seen the photos that another user took.

All of the XDuoo amps in that series (I have the MT-602) has Very high gain. Your headphone has one of the lowest Ohm ratings around at 16 Ohms so I can't see it being workable. I had to use a pre-amp to make it workable with my Grado's and I didn't even.bother trying the SR2's.

In fact the MT604 has very high gain, I'm not liking how the SR2 presents itself with the MT604, the sim gets tiring, it even irritates the ears, I'm thinking of getting the new Fiio K7 Balanced with gain control and non-tube topology, I think which will make a better pairing with the SR2.
