My digital battery keeps draining much faster than the analog battery. The digital battery consumes about 10% per hour.
I mainly use UAPP to play music (bit perfect on), medium gain, volume between 35 and 40 normally.
When I charge it, the digital battery is usually at 20% while the analog remains between 35 and 40%.

It is pretty normal that the digital battery drains faster. It all depends upon what you are driving.

Im using low gain 45-70 vol. It drains like 7% max per hour. I think on medium gain will be 2-3% more. Nothing to worry about in my opinion.

Also, if you have 64 bit processing, it might use a bit more, and also "Resampling" set to "Audiophile", it will definitely use more.

But he wrote he uses uapp. Haven't seen such settings on uapp, only on neutron.
Oh WOW! Brain fart... You are right, it DOES indeed say UAPP... Sorry bout that! Well, if anyone needs advice on saving battery in Neutron..... There ya' go! :)

Thinking of picking this one. But I wondering how long the support will be? Before something like dx330 or something appear..

The DX300 Max has already been announced... :) I would guess a pretty good while, since it has a modular design IMO. That, and it is (arguably) the best iBasso DAP to date.

That is one. I just don't want it to feel outdated after like several months in case something like dx330 do appear some months later. Even if I know it doesn't make dx300 sound less good or anything. Just not feel good for me.
Some brands tend to refresh their product so quickly nowadays..

Apologies if this has been asked already...I have an iBasso DX300 on the way, and I have a question about EQ and streaming. I'm assuming that even if the device does not have play store, since it's Android you can sideload Tidal/Spotify/Qobuz/etc. Now I know that the Mango player has a nice parametric EQ, but does that EQ apply to the streaming apps?

With my Android phone, I use USB audio player pro. Would this be an option for the iBasso DX300? USB Audio player pro works great because 1) it bypasses Android's built-in DSP, 2) it integrates with Tidal and Qobuz, and 3) it has a nice parametric EQ (for a couple more bucks). I'm assuming Mango player also bypasses Android's DSP (resampling).

I for one am hoping for a DX330 with a smaller footprint and nicer knob design

It comes loaded with APK Pure, and Cool APK (other stores). From APK Pure, you can install Google Play Store, and then you can do anything you can do on a phone (except telephony). Which, also means, that if you have already paid for UAPP you can load it onto the DX300, provided you sign in with the account you paid for the app with.

There is no system-wide EQ on the DX300 (just a filter, and gain), so that means that whatever app you use has to have a built-in EQ just for that app. But, yes Mango does indeed bypass android system, as well as UAPP, Neutron, Hiby, and probably many more that are also bit-perfect. Once you get Google Play Store installed, you can do all the experimenting you want. BTW! You CAN install the native Tidal and Qobuz apps if you want to.
