Been using them for some time. Just very recently got some more blues and very good recordings. Impressive on the 300 and 12 or 312.You can look at nativedsd

Nice! I bought a Dignis Attineo case recently, for the R8. But the DX300 does not fit, so I need to find another case. Curious if there are other suggestions?Even i had to send back my AMP12 today and with it the black case, i still got something new today.
The ddHiFi C-2020 which perfectly fits the DX300, IEMs and accessories.
I still have a custom black leather case on order, which havent been send out till now!
This Dignis case looks awesome, to bad it doesn't fit, else it would be a "second" case for me.Nice! I bought a Dignis Attineo case recently, for the R8. But the DX300 does not fit, so I need to find another case. Curious if there are other suggestions?
Why don't you use a 2,5mm to 4,4mm adapter with them?BTW I'm going to miss the 2.5 mm socket if/when I change to amp 12. It's so convenient, I have quite a few 2.5 mm cables.
I have the Dignis one as well but I prefer using Van Nuys. You can also consider Miters case as a cheaper alternative.Nice! I bought a Dignis Attineo case recently, for the R8. But the DX300 does not fit, so I need to find another case. Curious if there are other suggestions?

I was using a Miter DAP case with my DX160, but even the large one won't fit the DX300.I have the Dignis one as well but I prefer using Van Nuys. You can also consider Miters case as a cheaper alternative.
I've been using adapters all the time with the R8. Not having to feels good. But it's not a big deal, just something I'd miss. Why don't you use a 2,5mm to 4,4mm adapter with them?
I get some interesting masterings in DSD from 128 to 256 of rare recordings from High Definition Tape Transfer, they're known for their masterings on rare jazz and classical tape recordings. You can look at nativedsd

Edit: looks like they have a larger one now, the question is, will the DX300 fit?
Edit 2: looks like the middle compartment is 80mm wide, while the DX300 is 77mm wide without leather case, it should be around 170mm high while the DX300 has 162mm without leather case, so it would be a tight fit!
I can also confirm it works although the spatial audio doesn't as the DX doesn't appear to support Dolby Atmos.
However after trying the spatial audio on my mobile phone, your not missing much
Yes, I use IeR Z1R, and with the Z1R the recessed mid is more prominent and observed right away vs Ex1k. It happens so that this recessed mid tuning is similar to Z1R, which also grand a great expansive staging, but if you are enjoying MKII with Z1R then the Amp12 May be a compromise on the mid. The Amp12 specific tuning is a great match up in synergies with EX1K or seem to scale with anything that has more forward mid and neutral signature.@Whitigir
Hi
I that the ier 1ZR you where referring to?
If it is, what change do you hear from the amp 11 mk II to the amp 12?
You mentioned slightly recessed mids on the amp 12 at the beginning compared to the amp 11 mk II and was wondering if this is still the case for the 1ZR?
I am using my ier 1ZR on PO only and enjoy the sound immensely and was just wondering if it was worth pushing the button on getting the 12?
Just your IMHO please
Loving your input on here,
Thank you.
I have well over 300 hours now on the AMP12 and am trying hard to hear the recessed mids being spoken of. With the IT07 or Focal Utopia or Stellia I am not getting it. Listening to the Vivino Brothers, Blues Band on DSD64 and all the depth and right distance etc., are there. Then on some other recordings, again, with voice, it isn't recessed our odd but not in my face, which I don't care for. It has a nice 3D dimension to it. More like what I have heard in live music, rather than a lot of in your face recordings. Also I hear nice acoustical space (reverb off of walls etc.,) and transparency. Good stuff.
