After putting the Amp12 down for a bit and using the amp11mark2

i have gone back to the PO of the amp12 and it seems to have opened up,
After getting more hours on it. Its more balanced than before and quieter.

@jamato8 - what burn in hour sweet spot should i be aiming for?

Would someone try out Apple Music (Beta) to see if it’s fully installing and launching and playing?
I can confirm it works...AM seems to be "upgrading" its library to lossless over time - I am seeing more and more tracks get upgraded to lossless each day.

Yup. Working nicely on DX300. In fact, build 1109 of the 3.6.0 beta is already available. More stable beta.

Hi
Maybe UAPP is not prepared for the dx300 yet but it detected dacs and works flowlessly. Sounds great too- cant hear any quality differences between UAPP and Mango on Android mode. UAPP sounds maybe bit tighter but its sounded like this on my Pioneer xdp-300r too.

Yea, sounds the same to me to. The 3 apps I use are uapp, mango Android, and mango OS, and all 3 sound the same for me.

Thanks for the tip regarding v3.6. Hadn’t seen that update and I was still using v3.5. Thank you!

The information was already sent. Possibly UAPP needs to be contacted again or hasn't got the change ready.
Perhaps there is some misunderstanding, because Davy from UAPP told me today that they were still waiting for information from you (iBasso).

Please check with him, because if so, we may never see full UAPP support for the DX300 and that would be a real shame.

DX300 has arrived... wow... This thing sounds awesome! Great first impressions!

It came with amp 11 Mk1. I will first spend some time with that before I try amp 12.

Couple of quick questions:
- is there a 'default' filter? It was set at D4.
- in the R8 there's a setting for left/right balance. No such thing on this?

I've been on the fence for a while, but leaning toward picking up a DX300 with Amp 12 to pair with my Cayin C9. After your post, I decided to pull the trigger and pick one up.

Has anyone tried to volume control a Bluetooth speaker with their dx300?

My dx300 doesn't control Bluetooth volume. I have attempted to control the volume of my minirig speakers which i was able to do on every DAP I've every had but currently it just play Bluetooth max volume on dx300. Volume slider even on 0 does nothing.

I also seem to have a lot of WiFi dropout with the dx300. Streaming lags often because of this, I've tried 3 different WiFi. Especially when i use uapp, couple songs before it stops playing, almost every time.
Wont even auto connect back to wifi, i have to open wifi page and then it'll start trying to connect back to one.

I very often use my mobile phone as a hot spot and never had any problems with wifi. It works like a charm. Sometimes when i use wifi at home and go to the kitchen it stops playing.

I have a question: do many of you guys use dynamic Iems? I use beyerdynamic Xelento and find a sound not perfectly balanced. Its like trebles, upper mids and mids are well textured but from mid bass to bass and sub it's way softer and it lacks a little bit of an edge. I know I'm nitpicking here and it could be a matter of synergy. I'm actually overwhelmed by the dynamics and a soundstage tho.

WiFi-drop outs--was having them--happened when I was close to my repeater in one end of the house-I also noticed it wa happening when hitting my 5MHz rather than 2.4MHz connection, so I just set the repeater to only 2.4MHz and no more drops--I have /attribute no reason to this, but it is working for me.

5 is faster but 2.4 has better range.
