Have all of you done factory reset after updates ? That may help
I didn't perform a factory reset, also, I don't see a later Tidal version in my google app store which everyone seems to have, not sure if anyone is participating in a beta with Tidal....what a mystery...

DX300MAX new firmware. OTA for your convenience.

1. Rectified the bug that there is some background noise when playing MQA via Tidal.
2. Improved Bluetooth compatibility.
3. Improved USB digital output compatibility.

V1.02.184
The abnormal “pop” sound when playing MQA via Tidal has been improved, but not completely resolved the issue. Sometimes I can still hear the “pop” sound when playing Tidal. Please continue to improve the firmware.

DSD can not be streamed as efficient as PCM. But it could be in the future when 5-6G is going to be more widely adopted ?
Interesting
You mean because the size or other reasons?
I mean a std dsd64 file is similar size as a 24/196 file (from memory) and I stream many of those from apple app... (I mean at home with wifi)

DSD is 1 bit length and continuously, which can not be interrupted. It is possible, but very hard to stream wirelessly. No one want to experiences drop out or hiccups :)! Not to mention that audio streaming is a new market where it wasn’t previously invested in enough. I am sure later on we may have that

However, here is the kicker, we, or should I say, myself, rather buy these albums and store it, having to own it personally rather than leasing it from someone and one day that someone may decide to eliminate such….it would suck!! So I am classy, offline and stored for the win. After all, I pay so much into this hobby for every little and last % as possible

I used to have Tidal and now use Amazon HD with no issues. I have read of many people having issues with Tidal. It is Tidal and they can correct this as they have in the past but they are slow to do so. People need to contact Tidal and take them to task, not all of the manufactures of daps. Why should manufactures have to try and reconfigure their software to Tidal? Tidal is the issue as has been proven by past updates.
