The application is a problem, MQA is a problem, but still so many customers. Hmmm...Tidal is the problem

That's why I swapped over to Amazon Music HD almost on day one of the issues with 3MAX and Tidal. Once the issues have been addressed I will swap back over... but in the meantime... Amazon Music HD is pretty amazing!
Is not a problem a new tidal version.before updating it, I was already having problems ..You can revert to previous build using PureApk and test with previous release again.
Tidal for me is better..Mixes,Most Listened every month, etc…better UI..I want TIDAL OK.i pay for app and expensive dap..That's why I swapped over to Amazon Music HD almost on day one of the issues with 3MAX and Tidal. Don‘t pain yourself with resets, the tidal drop outs are still alive after the firmware-update
Most certainly. Can you test Iron Maiden’s latest single Stratego? I had with both previous fws a lot of noise there.
First playback I hear tiny distortion at 1:43, followed by another at 3:27
Second playback, tiny distortion at 3:31 and 4:14
Third playblack, tiny distortion at 4:51
Fourth playback, tiny distortion at 1:53
Fifth playback, tiny distortion at 3:51
What I’m hearing is a sound distortion and not a dropout

short drop outs, like a clicking noise, using tidal master
Yep that’s a better description of what I was trying to convey listening to Iron Maiden’s new single.short drop outs, like a clicking noise, using tidal master
Welcome Copland62 to the 3MAX owners club. Your details and unique owners number has been entered on to the listing. Wishing you many hours of happy listening . Enjoy!
So with all these Tidal MQA issues... and now Amazon HD and Apple Music being obvious contenders... has anyone compared all 3 services from an SQ perspective?
Part of the reason I haven't switched is obviously moving my library over could be a pain... but also I like that I can use UAPP to play Tidal bit-perfect.
Is there such a setup on Amazon/Apple?
Also, is one better than the other for discovering new music and would provide better recs?

Soundiiz ap. Difficult to figure out for me, but once I did that I can quickly use any ap. But in some cases Tidal will have the album/song but it just isn't picked up in Qobuz or vice versa. So with all these Tidal MQA issues... and now Amazon HD and Apple Music being obvious contenders... has anyone compared all 3 services from an SQ perspective?

I will do experiment in the night: download that track (original MQA) and try to play it with UAPP, NMP and Mango player. Let’s see if that will give me other experience. Most certainly.

Amazon does not allow Soundiiz to sync. I have used Deezer, Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz and Amazon Music HD. I still have Spotify, I was only waiting for their HiFi, Tidal and Amazon. I have paid for Annual Tidal and Amazon, probably won't renew Tidal.Soundiiz ap. Difficult to figure out for me, but once I did that I can quickly use any ap. I really like Amazon Music HD. I have always had one quibble with it. I am not sure I can explain it but here goes...on the Android app, I have been told not an issue with Apple. You know on the other services, if you add, for example, Aerosmith all of the Aerosmith releases appear under that artist, on the Amazon Music HD Android app if I add Aerosmith go to library artist I need to add each "album" for them to appear under artist library. The only way to see all of the artist releases is to go to my profile and look for the artist. They aren't alphabetized. If anyone has another idea, please share.
It is very playlist driven on the Android app and I usually go to artist and have in my mind a release I am in the mood for.

Apple sounds best to me right now among Tidal/Spotify/AmazonHD. Good international library too. Cancelled Tidal and mostly Apple now.So with all these Tidal MQA issues... and now Amazon HD and Apple Music being obvious contenders... has anyone compared all 3 services from an SQ perspective?
