According to the specs. This is all new to me so not sure what it really means.

Audio profiles Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), AVRCP, AAC
aptX Codecs Classic; Low latency
A bluetooth Headphone (or receiver) that can receive APTx-HD, or LDAC will sound cleaner; more like the original file. However they need to transmit up to 3 times more data over the bluetooth. Because of more data, the signal strength needs to be higher for APTx-HD and LDAC. Pretty sure that some of the folks worried about bluetooth range/stability are using those codecs.

Sorry to see that your microsd card seems corrupted. There are a lot of fake cards out there.
Another thing that can cause slow or stalled reading/updating music files on a DAP is if a few, (sometimes even one), files that has tags in a format the DAP does not like. Or has some font/characters that the DAP can't understand. Can be DIfficult to find those problem files. almost trial and error.

Thanks for responses, I did contact Paul. I contacted Ibasso.com (currently no firmware there) I also Found Lurker's github. The firmware versions that were there would not show up to import in recovery. I Also get an error when connecting with android tools, it detects the device but i get a version mismatch error.

I didn't get you email for some reason. You can't brick the DX160, which is a good feature. Here is what you need, with instructions, on reformatting your DX160. Use either of the firmwares and then update to the latest. Your DX160 has to be off when plugging it into the computer (PC). This information is also on the 1st page of the thread.

1. Android Tool for use on Windows computers and used with the .img FW to do a fresh factory install and then update to the latest FW in the normal manner:

2. Firmware in .img format to be used with the Android Too.

3. USB/DAC Windows Driver to be used with Windows computer for the above and loaded to the computer first.

I solved Wi-Fi noise problem with iFi iEMatch.

With this simple cable, all noise has gone completely.
It reminds me my DX80 which was from the very first batch. With a heavy cable, it collected noise from WiFi hot spots around, but only with that heavy cable. I've fixed it by soldering a pair of ceramic capacitors of some nF, to short RF to the ground. Such shunt capacitors don't affect the sound at all, and, unlike IEMatch, don't change the output impedance.

(Un)fortunately, my DX160 is dead silent with my current (also heavy) cable, in both WiFi ranges, and I don't want to unsolder the old one just out of the curiosity.

@Paul - iBasso may i ask what is the difference between the standard dx160 and the special edition? Is it only the back and some cosmetic changes?

Hey guys

Good but not perfect solution. Since there is no 4.4mm iEMatch you have to use 2 adapters (2.5mm to 4.4mm and iEMatch) which is not so convenient IMO.

For other whose not hear any noise when playing streaming music app, just want you to know, i think it's only affected iem with high sensitivity. I have 5 IEM, only 2 of them i can hear those annoying noise. On Shozy BG and CIEM Avara AV3, i can hear those noise. But in Fiio F9 pro, Kinera Idun Deluxe and Phonak PFE112 i cannot hear any noise. So if you cannot hear those noise, its very lucky of you hahahaha.

Unfortunately, I can hear wifi noise with my Grado GH3... So IEMs are not the only one affected...
