How about installing Lurker add-on which enables root and using some Xposed module to keep the wifi awake?

I've installed Lurker but the magisk app is not installed, do you know how to install mannualy?

There is a note about this in Lurker github. Is the last magisk version (20.4) working ok?

"Note 2: MagiskManager icon is, actually, a stub injected by Magisk core. It is intended by the developer to help installing full MagiskManager, but I disable it to stop annoying. Should you need MagiskManager, please install it manually. "

Can someone help?

Thanks

But this only helps for normal apps, I think. For UAPP you have to pay to Google. And for this you need a genuin Play Store, I am afraid.

Well I have no idea what I've done, but I haven't installed any mods to my DX160 and I'm running UAPP just fine. I think mine came with an apk installer, so I just installed Play Store from there and have used it like that ever since - no modifications or alternative firmware has ever been near mine

I actually prefer UAPP over Mango due to bit perfect mode. It just sounds a little better to my ears IMO. That being said, I don’t find anything wrong with using Mango.
I take it Mango fails to do bit perfect. What does that look like for Mango? Can you give me an example as to how Mango renders files bit imperfect? Thanks

I finished my in-depth written review about the DX160 DAP from iBasso! This one is a good catch, compared it with M11, which was the current best buy in the price range, and happily, it looks like iBasso is filling the gaps, with products that are really worth the price. I'm especially enthusiastic about the sound, but the ergonomics and display quality are both top notch too!

With great help from @kalik, it seems I've resolved the problem with Mango OS and DX160 2020 edition (touch screen didn't work). If you use my add-on, please update to 1.27b2. This is the only change from 1.27b1, so the users of 2019 edition or those who don't need Mango OS may continue using 1.27b1.

Since yesterday I'm using your MOD also, because I've a annoying issue streaming TIDAL (every 30min the connection fails).

I want to install some magic module and try to solve this, bt I don't understand what you mean with note 2?

"Note 2: MagiskManager icon is, actually, a stub injected by Magisk core. It is intended by the developer to help installing full MagiskManager, but I disable it to stop annoying. Should you need MagiskManager, please install it manually. "

How to Iinstall manually? The link goes to the zip file used in TWRP.

Thanks

Hello,

thanks for the update, I installed it on my 2020 version and can confirm that it works :)
Any change of a version with Hiby player version V3.2.0 5498 that includes the MSEB (Mage Sound 8-ball Tuning) equalizer?

Another related question. Are these horizontal lines normal during an upgrade, they remain "burned in" into the screen for a few minutes.

I don't see any other complains. Today I tried to reproduce the freezing issue, but failed. Please note that Mango OS player in 1.27b1 and 1.26b3 add-ons is exactly the same. So, it can be your local problem, related to SD-card, artwork etc.

Thanks for the reply @Lurker0 really appreciate your hard work in releasing and maintaining this wonderful add-on for iBasso DAPs.

Sorry for my delay in checking back on this issue but finally I've solved it by doing a factory reset. Reapplied the original firmware, again one more factory reset and applied the lurker add-on. This helped to solve the issue and the album browsing in Mango mode is now smooth and no freezing.

It's recomended to keep version magisk 19.3?
I didn't try more recent versions. Anyway, don't try to upgrade from Magisk Manager, as I warned in the add-on description.

If you ask would I update my build of Hiby, then the answer is: most probably, no. It would require too much efforts to re-implement bit perfect playback on iBasso devices, and I myself don't care about EQ. You may install the official build from Google Play.

I can't eliminate them, and I don't believe they actually harm. If you are concerned, you may use Windows and AndroidTool.

Thanks. Do we need to go back to the official firmware or just update directly from b1 to b2?

@Lurker0 - interesting issue: I'm using an alternate launcher on my 160. While the icon for the USB Audio app exists just fine in the default Launcher3, it hasn't been picked up by the third party launcher I've installed. Yeah, I can work around that no problem, but I was wondering if you had any thoughts on the matter (I'm using Niagara Launcher).
