Here is some more information on the possible difference between dx100 and R10.
As we can see in the photo, R10 in the circuit after the DAC has OPA 827K.

Dx100 as I know has OPA 627 after DAC. But I've never seen a photo with dx100 audiotract where I could possibly see what is there in the circuit after the DAC, cause of the wiped-out OP name. If the information is correct, here is the main HW (besides SW) reason for the difference in sound. And yes, OPA 827 might sound better.

Like Anakchan and I already mention the different SQ , because of two thing
Different battery and op amp 627 on my HDP R10
In dx 100 I don't know what kind of op amp they use , because they wipe the op amp

I'm curious. How do you know the DX100 is using OPA627? AFAIK when I opened up the DX100 a year ago (wow, it's _EXACTLY_ a year! Anniversary of the dismantling of the DX100!!) the OpAmps were sandpapered off just like most other amp makers (except for the few VentureCraft, Portaphile, UHA-6 MK2) :-

in dx100 it is also 627+634 at the phone apm section. But I was talking a about the OP after DAC, but before the phone amp section.

Your pix were the first I saw in the internet. We were discusing them on a russian forum player.ru a year ago.

The information about 627 after DAC comes from one russian engineer from city Novosibirsk. He made a HI FI player Alexmod before the appearance of HM801. He used several bodies of other players (such as Cowon x5 or Iriver 120 an 140) and his own audiotract board. Also he made a dx100 and R10 modification. Personally I don't know for sure, if it is opa627 used after the DAC dx100, but player.ru users are sure about the 627+buf634 usage in the phone amp section.
It was very interesting for me to know, what OP is used in R10, because in the audio section dx100 and R10 are clones.

You guys were discussing about my pix :p!? Anyways...

What I'm curious about is how reliable and accurate is the info about the OpAmps used in the DX100. Maybe this is better in the DX100 thread. AFAIK, no one has been able to confirm the OpAmps used in the DX100 to be 627s. Let's carry on this on the DX100 thread anyway as it's quite interesting.

Your other HDP-R10 question could remain on this thread.

Thanks Veenrok, this is an interesting discussion, but I will defer to Anakchan's suggestion to drop it from within the context of this particular thread. I appreciate you sharing these details, though, cheers.

Hi Sean

With the cable like your cable above , I can charge through USB but the time to charge longer than use wall charger .
USB to micro USB can not charge my HDP R 10

I just use my external battery charger / power bank with 2,1 mAh

Look like can charge my HDP R 10 through micro USB to USB from my power bank

But I can not see the battery signal up and down during I charge with stock wall charger

I will update after hours charge .

I hope can use my iPad charger too with 2,1 mAh

The only thing I want to point out is the voltage of the battery in dx100 and r10. The voltage of the battery in dx100 is 8.4, and you can check that on ibasso main web page. the voltage of the battery in r10 is much lower than that of dx100.

The voltage of the HDP-R10 was discussed a year ago and it was 4.2V. That's why it's chargeable from USB (which is 5V), whereas the DX100 is not. As provided by Veenrok in the pix, there's different charging circuitry on the motherboard of the HDP-R10 vs DX100.

Yes it's works with power bank USB to micro USB from HDP R10
Look like take longer time to finish compare the wall charger
And no display that I can see during the charging process with wall charger

Just 3 hours about 60 % , I am waiting until 8 hours

Note : I would not recommend charge HDP R10 use power bank 2,1 Amp ,
After 10 hours the battery level same as 3 hours 60%.
It is better use stock wall charger , my recomandation about 8 hours to get
Really full charge .
