Yeah its strange how some places have them and some don't. Some territories have them and some don't. Weird. Oh well, I've already paid for it at my dealer, so I'll just wait it out. Shame though :)

Chord have inplace a first come first served system.

Nobody Queue Jumps so I have been told. Some retailers that are bigger than most can afford to pre order whatever it is, even if they don’t have any pre orders.

Some other stores that are smaller may only order one or two, and even then only on demand, hence some stores have some instock and others don’t.

Me, I was told my mscaler order was in and that I would be roughly 5 weeks before it left the distributors warehouse. 5 weeks to the day and my order shipped.

I tell you one thing tho.

2016/17, I saw a gorgeous looking little black thing that was receiving rave reviews and looked absolutely gorgeous, Mojo. I had always wanted a Dac, mainly to see how good a dac would be against a decent pc sound card. Anyway, January 2017, I decided the pictures alone were making me drool too much. I then had to order one, 2 days later it was in my hands, it was my first Chord product. In my hands it was beautiful, I couldn’t stop touching it as it felt primo. First class manufacturing.

I love the look of chord products, John has a good eye, although weird at first, when you step back, you gotta admit their kit is nice. Even now, nearly what, 3-4 years after mojos release, where I’m from, everytime I take mojo and poly out of my pocket, people see the lights and are immediately attracted to it.

Getting back to the point at hand, even though we have to wait, you know that when it does arrive, it’s something special and people will always take notice of your chord gear.

As an added bonus, they seem to hold their value on the second hand market, which is a great thing for us owners who may be upgrading now or in the future.

Fingers crossed yours arrives as soon as possible, me, I’m looking towards a mid december, early january delivery.

I applied for what hi-fi on totaljobs, they advertising for a reviewer, sent my Cv off.Tweaked my cv for this job, told them I read hi-fi review for year's and I'm a member of head fi

Grammar, spelling and overall grasp of the English language aside, I see no reason why you wouldn't get this job.

Paul, don't mind them! You will not get the job because you are simply over qualified (and for no other reason).

But to give yourself a better chance, tell them that you only got sacked from a massive multi-national company because you were over qualified and that you knew way more than your boss ever did.

Please do not make out we were belittling or doing down. One is allowed humour (even here - although I admit sometimes it does backfire).

Yeah, I think he know that. He has been done badly by his employers. Hopefully he will get a job where they appreciate him.

I was only messing pal, I'm sure you'd do a good job. For what it's worth, with your passion and knowledge for all things audio, you should try and get a job in sales. Maybe selling high end stuff like Chord, etc. You'd smash it.

  • Nominal Impedance: 8 Ohms
  • Recommended Amplifiers: 30 to 150 watts
  • Frequency Response: 35Hz to 30KHz
  • Sensitivity: 88db linear for 1 watt at 1 meter
The above are the specs for the Pro ac reference monitors @Rob Watts do you think this would produce an adequate amount of volume from the balanced out on the Tt 2? . Thanks .

This thread is turning into the Agony Aunt column in the "Womans Own". Dear Deidre, Colin in Sales said he didn't like my new frock ..blah, blah.......

I think I read that Mr. Watts runs his B&W 802's from the TT2, though I'm not sure whether he recommends this as the optimum mode of operation, as that would seem to obviate the need for a Chord power amp. ?

I am interested in any impressions into speakers, active or otherwise as, I don't use h/phones.
