Thinking of buying these. Anyone paired with Sony ZX300 or iBasso DX200?
And I with my Sundaras.Funny that you just posted this... I am getting my Ananda in the mail today. Will listen to this while wearing them, lol
My only gripe with the sound is that some sharper female vocals may come across as brittle. Like on the song 2002 by Anne Marie. Or is it because the song itself is poorly recorded?I saw this on Rtings as best midrange (may not be agreeable for all). I guess the treble being more of the evened out of others is a strong suit.

Otherwise I'm having a blast.
Hahaha glad you enjoyed itI just listened to this song with my SHP9500's with Shure 1540 alcantara pads, Dragonfly V1.2 - 0 sharpness or brittleness, not a poorly recorded song at all, sounds amazing to me, and thank you... because I just added it to my spotify female vocals playlist

Then it's probably due to the thinner sound of the Sundara's.
Yeah that's actually what I was trying. I'm currently using 1 inch thick protein-leather pads. The bass quantity seems to have increased but it's also not as tight anymore. The treble also got somewhat veiled. You could try changing earpads, that is what helped my shp9500. Maybe look into ZMF or Dekoni pads? I have some brainwavz XL sheepskin pads, they might help take the vocals some.

Edit: god the stock pads are hard to put back.
