I tried other sources. The sound simply disappears at some point and I have nothing for “raise” it in these sources.
My iFi micro iDSD is completely working. It has a turbo mode up to 4 watts per channel, which makes "awakens" for this driver. It looks like I wrote..

if your micro iDSD works as intended and you get no sound still, then the issue is either with a cable, or the internal wiring in your cans most likely. When you move their cables, is there any difference? Thanks!

I have had the same problem with a HiFiMan phone before. I would recommend you unsolder the 2 wires on the input jack and clean as much solder off the jack connections as possible. Cut the bare ends on the 2 wires, strip off some insulation, tin the wires, and then resolder them to the input jack. Use rosin core solder, not the awful lead free solder that HiFiMan has to use. Before you start, cut a piece of cardboard from something like a cereal box to completely cover the driver so no dropped solder can damage the driver.

If you are still experiencing the same problem, then it has to be either the input jack or an intermittent connection where the 2 wires connect to the driver. Not sure you can do anything about the wires connected to the driver. I have resoldered all the HiFiMan phones I have that have removable outside grills as the input jack connectors almost always have grainy looking connections from the use of lead free solder and questionable soldering technique. Hope this helps.

That's what I'd do too, but here it all depends whether one is handy with soldering iron or not. Hifiman cans are fairly easy to work on, but there's always a tiny chance that something goes wrong. But in general, yup, I'd resolder internal wires, just to make sure they don't cause any issues.

First of all, I checked the cables under the grills. One of the contacts seemed oxidized to me. At the same time, the cable was not fixed firmly. In the end it fell off and I soldered it. But the problem has not gone. After that I made videos which I included in my previous messages.
The second contact looks good and I didn't solder it. But I can try to do the same thing, I will find time for this in the coming days. Thank you for advise

Worst case scenario, you could reach out to HifiMan and ask them whether issues you're experiencing might be related to drivers. They should be able to give you some ideas I think :)

Surprising how often I grab these (as opposed to Utopia, Auteur, Ether 2, Hedd, HEKse).

Still loving the he560s after all these years.😃 They're such a great value especially if you get them at 200USD. Well worth it i must say. Got mine at 400USD back in 2016.

It's worth more than what I've paid for considering the time and enjoyment I've had with these.

Hiya! I've had my 560 v4's since I'd say earlier this year? Eventually I messed up while trying to change the pads and idk how but I poked a small hole in the membrane of one of the drivers. Recently I got myself another pair and I missed it. Even though I have a Focal Elex and HD6XX, I still have a personal preference for this headphone. I even like it over the Sundara. Imo the Sundara has a nice default tuning sound, but after some brain burn-in the 560 v4 opens up and you start to notice certain things that make it slightly better than the Sundara (in certain areas), like just the overall sense of depth and the soundstage. As I mentioned before, Sundara has a nice default tuning but it also sounds a bit more like a wall of sound. Shallower sense of depth and soundstage compared to the he560 v4. Also live recordings on this headphone sound extraordinary! Like Casiopea's live albums, they sound almost exactly how they would if I were there in the crowd with others.
Just wanted to add in my opinions about the 560 v4 and gush a bit. Also I do have one question. I think I've seen about one post about it but, how is pad swapping on the 560 v4? Anyone else have experience with it? Do the velour pads make them sound better in certain ways? Or is it primarily preference and the default pads are just fine?

Based on experience, velour pads make them sound more sharp in the highs and bass becomes less impactful.

Hey guys! I just got a v1 with the 2.5mm connectors but the issue is that the pads look a little too used. Are there stock pads available? If not, I've read the palipads and the FocusPad-A are both good, but which is better?
Same cans here. I’ve tried a number of different pads. Turns out my favorites are ZMF Universe Suede pads. Here’s a post I wrote soon after I got them.

BTW, spare rings are only $10 from Hifiman.
