I'm still enjoying my 560s very much. They are my primary can for home use. My entire setup is all fairly new (I'm fairly new to this hobby), so I'm trying to give these as much time as possible. I feel like they never disappoint. I recently added the Gustard U12 to my chain, as well as upgraded the cables to ones I bought from Venus Audio on eBay. Really feel these complement classical, rock and most music where female vocals are highlighted.

I also love my Alpha Prime, but they are primarily for work (closed can). Eventually, I will start using the AP at home, as the setup there is far superior than the one at work. From time to time, I do use the AP at home, but like I said above, I'm giving the 560 as much time as possible.

What is the best PC -> DAC/AMP setup for the HE 560?

I am currently using a heavily modded Asus STX 2 (3x Burson V5 coupled with 3 SLIMIC II together with the MKP mod).

My HE 560 is completely modded after Jergs template and I am very very happy about of how they sound.
I picked the non modded HE 560 over the HD 800, HD 700, K812 and Audeze LCD2.2, but that is a whole different story :) .

Best I have heard is MHDT Pagoda to Cavalli Liquid Glass (forgot what tubes were in use)

I listen to this way:

1. Raspberry Pi2 (Moode) > usb to Chord Mojo > Hifiman HE560. Control by mpod on iPhone or chrome on Mac.

2. IMac (Audirvana Plus 2) > usb to Chord Mojo > Hifiman HE560.

Sounds fantastic to me :)

I'm using the Chord Mojo > USB to HE560. I'm happy with it. Transparent and musical.

Thanks for the feedback, Chord Mojo seems the way to go.

Just need to find a suiting Hifi-Store to audition them. I think my modded STX 2 produces good sound, but the search for the slightly better sounds seems to never end :) .
Anyone having a Chord Mojo and Burson V5 OpAmps to compare them to?
