finished putting on modulators jergpads. they sound great so far and the added extra bass is just right for the he-5le IMO. very happy with it.

Shouldn't be. The sub-bass mod really enhances extension below 40 Hz, and maintains good bass tactility because of the adhesive bond between the pads and the cups. Maybe he meant sub-bass.

The sub bass mod for the jerg pads makes a pretty big difference in general IMO but modulor just had a much better method than mine. The tape I used was not quite as sticky and much thinner.
