Hifiman HE-4 Impressions Thread

Finally got my HE-4 headphones in today.  I ordered it with the EF-5 bundle.  I'm breaking both in right now, but my immediate reaction is that they are much more revealing than my Senn HD580's that I've been using.  Will hope to report back in a while once they've got some hours on them, but so far I'm very happy with my purchase.

I've got the original HE5. It is an open headphone and you can hear everything outside and everybody else can hear you. But stax headphones doesn't make me sweat...

Am I correct in assuming the HE-4 doesn't come with the presentation box like its bigger brothers?

They really are nice looking headphones. They definitely seem to have more in common with the HE6 than the HE-5LE aesthetically.

We're probably going to have to hope Headroom picks them up.  I think its likely they will since they already sell the HE-5/HE-5LE anyway.
