I have the Elites with me but not able to get much joy from it. How are you listening to it in terms of the settings on the RS8? are you using balanced? I am looking to get something to convert the 1/4" to 4.4mm balanced but can't find one easily.

You shouldn't do that, you should get a new cable that is balanced end to end. Converting from SE to balanced doesn't untie the channel grounds from each other while the balanced amp expects to drive them separately. Chaos (and maybe a blown amp) ensues.

Yus, you can switch between Tidal or Qobuz.

In Music App settings, you can select your music streaming platform.

Thank you kindly for your feedback! I think I will need to clarify some of the translator's output.

1. In my testing, if you want the bass attack to sound sharper, you would actually add some to the treble and maybe even a little to the mids as well. Because, well, what we perceive to be a sharp bass attack is actually a broadband phenomenon
2. It may be possible to introduce this in the future. The underlying engine is capable of this, just my programming of the UI (and the standard plugin system) is limited to a few sliders for now. If this plugin receives more positive feedback and more desire for fine control, who knows

Regarding the desire for depth and 3D space to the sound, have you tried using some files for the Convolution system plugin?

You would use the 44k file when the music sample rate is 44.1 / 88.2 / 176.4 and the 48k file on 48 / 96 / 192 sample rates.

I really liked Joe's Huge 3D stereo sound. I wanted exactly this sound, for me it is something that no Dap can give. Bravo.
Also, the Hiby music update fixed my problems with the sound difference in the program itself and without it.
Could you share any other plugins or files for Convolution?

Not sure if I have missed anything, but in the Hiby player it seems that maximum Qobuz playback resolution is limited to 16/44.1? At least that's what appears when I play something from my hi-res favorites on Qobuz.

2. are we talking about two (2) 1/4 jacks, each with 3 segments (tip-ring-sleeve)? One for each channel? Then yes, that's also fine.

I believe you're right as you're not the first to report this. Reported to headquarters.

Update: we haven't been able to test and implement a hi-res client so far because literally nobody at headquarters could pay for an account. No, not because we're that poor, because Qobuz wasn't operating in China and so wouldn't take money from a Chinese account. Well, I can fix that

Quboz App. It is not allowing me to download playlists. The app also confirms I have a hifi+ subscription.
I have a 1tb card inside with 90% free and general memory is ~90% free too.

Is this a known limitation?

These third party APIs (as given by TIDAL, Qobuz etc.) have one thing in common in that they don't allow song downloads. Online listening only.
